We got SNOW!!

This is so crazy!  I took my yard stick out to the picnic table and it measured 7.5 inches on the tabletop!
Today I am waiting for the call from Walmart to go and get my Simponi.  Dr. Sean is keeping me on the Plaquenil and Methotrexate.  The Prednisone does officially go away here in a couple of days and he isn't authorizing a new script for it.  He said that with the combo of Simponi, MTX, and Plaquenil, my body should be armed to the teeth to get the RA to settle down and my energy levels to return because I won't be dealing with the Prednisone effects, either.

Today my fingers are feeling a tad swollen but I did get Chloe to school, the dog taken outside to do her business and play in the snow.  Now I am thinking about the beginnings of a new project for the SCA.  This will be an embroidery project, because my hands WILL be getting better and decorative hand-stitching is therapy for me.  But I also just ordered a maintenance kit for my spinning wheel!  I can't wait to get it up and running again.  However, I think that I am going to need a class for the spinning wheel and then later a refresher class on weaving basics.

Ya know, I am wanting this RA therapy to go so right because I deserve it to go right.  I have too much stuff to do and I can't be sidelined by it anymore.  I am tired of being tired, I am sick of laying on the couch all day because I don't have the strength or energy to move around, and then there is the weight gain with meds to deal with, etc.  If it isn't one thing, its another.

Ok, I am getting off my butt and I am getting out to the kitchen because I need to make some brownies for our fighter practice tomorrow night!
