The side effects are now gone and my hands are actually feeling like I really never had RA. There are still a few trouble spots, but I think by the next injection they will be under control as well.
Now what I am facing is getting my body back to an active level. I think that is what is driving my fatigue...my body isn't used to tons of activity because when I flare I just go and lay down on the couch or go to bed. So, I am very tired and I am kinda sore because I am making my body work.
However, this week I am starting the process for us to move from Florence to Colorado Springs. Waide got a new job in the Springs and we will need to move because I can't drive Waide everyday at this distance. This week is spring break, so I am going out to the bungelow and getting the boxes and start packing them.
We honestly don't know when we are going to move but we do know that it will be after May 27th because that is the kiddos' last day of school and Braden will be graduating from the 8th grade.
Now that my hands are starting to work again, I can start to focus on my health. I don't like where my weight is and I really have to change that. I am totally laying off any caffeine including- chocolate and chai teas from Starbucks. I am also working on giving up soda. I have switched to caffeine-free Pepsi, but I am losing the taste for it. My doctor told me to lay off the stuff AND caffeine promotes flares. I am also going back to getting the high fructose corn syrup out of our lives. My hubby is going to stop drinking the soda as well, because of the impending benefits. He can get his medication for narcolepsy and that means no more soda for the caffeine.
Ok, it is time for me to get my butt moving and start living once again. BUT I am taking small steps.
yayyyy for it working! Isn't it great to feel a little good for once? I hope your move goes well...I really hate moving but there is an excitement to it sometimes :) I've always wanted to go to Colorado..hope you post some pics soon ;) Your diet stragedy sounds great! I need to watch my caffeine too...I just started cutting out gluten..one thing at a time for me so I don't go nuts :P
